Assessment of Water and Land Resources in Small Transboundary Tributaries of Amu Darya River Basin

IWMI has been sub-contracted for its technical expertise to conduct phase three of this project where we will use remote sensing technology to assess the water quality of the Syrdarya river basin.

This study is to evaluate and generate up-to-date and pertinent data on water resources and water quality in the Amu Darya River Basin. Collected data will play a crucial role in developing accurate scenarios for planning and distributing water resources in the small transboundary tributaries of the Syrdarya basin, and the greater Syrdarya basin.
