Training cotton producers on water efficiency
IWMI will promote best practices in agriculture, especially cotton production, in Uzbekistan. The program will result in:
- Improved water use efficiency, water saving and accounting technologies.
- Innovative methods for monitoring of water use.
- Delivery of capacity building and trainings for water specialists, agronomists and farmers in collaboration with cotton agricultural clusters and the Water Consumer Association (WCA) in the project pilot regions.
