She joins IWMI from Helen Keller International, Lalitpur, Nepal where she worked as a Consultant, Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture and developed a national guideline on nutrition-sensitive agriculture. Indu holds a master’s of Public Health from the University of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. She will soon complete her joint PhD on Erasmus Mundus TransGlobal Health (Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture) from Athena Institute, Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam, and Barcelona Institute for Global Health, University of Barcelona. Indu is a part of the cross-CGIAR Asian Mega-Deltas (AMD) research Initiative where she works on two interconnected work packages (WP), achieving WP2: ensuring that deltaic food systems can sustain and enhance nutrition security equitably; and WP4: inclusive governance of natural resources on which diverse food systems depend.
