Asmi Yazeen

Head of Program Management

Asmi worked for the Asian Development Bank on projects in Urban and Water, Irrigation, Disaster Risk Management & Disaster Response, Fisheries, Energy, Transport, Tourism, Governance and Finance sectors. During his carrier in the development sector, he led more than 200 projects from million to million in value. He has wider experience in project and portfolio management, contract administration, consultant contract management and administration, and Environmental Safeguard. Asmi holds a Master of Science in Disaster Management from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka; a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the Open University of Sri Lanka; a Bachelor of Science in Physical Science from South Eastern University of Sri Lanka; LLB from the University of Greenwich, London; and a Diploma in Human Rights and Peace Studies from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. He is also registered as a Charted Environmental Professional at the Institute of Environmental Professionals Sri Lanka.
