Tushaar Shah of the International Water Management Institute made a presentation to a group of 26 Members of Indian Parliament on the central government’s core irrigation scheme: Prime Minister Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) on March 10, 2016. The consultation was organized by New Delhi’s Centre for Policy Research, India’s best known think-tank. The consultation focused on the implications of the 2016 Union Budget for irrigation and agriculture development. Mr. Harish Damodaran, Editor of The Indian Express was the co-speaker on this occasion.
