Global Dispatches is an independent international affairs podcast hosted by Mark Goldberg and featuring “in-depth interviews with policymakers, journalists and experts around the world.” The goal of the podcast is to host essential conversations with these influencers in which they “discuss global news, international relations, global development and key trends driving world affairs.” Excitingly, the CGIAR Initiative on Fragility, Conflict and Migration (FCM), in partnership with Global Dispatches and Mark Goldberg, will bring you a series of episodes exploring how fragile and conflict affected situations can go from fragility to stability.
Global Dispatches’ “From Fragility to Stability with CGIAR” will focus on deepening the understanding of fragility, conflict and migration dynamics. Each episode will share CGIAR research on the effective policies, programming and financial mechanisms that could be utilized before and during aftershocks and crises to reduce fragility. In addition to the insights from CGIAR researchers, the FCM Initiative has also invited participants from partner organizations and stakeholders to join the conversation and navigate the complexities of conflict-affected settings.
